Intrinzic prospers in Newport

Intrinzic, a full-service branding agency based in Newport, recently extended its lease at Newport on the Levee through 2015. What began as a three-person firm in 1999 now employs 25 people and is growing at a rate of 15 to 20 percent, the Enquirer reports.

Says Dave Thompson, president of Intrinzic:

"If you strip away everything, what we do is solve business problems. ... We like to talk about ourselves as craftsmen. What we do is very creative, but we do it with a blue-collar work ethic. Our strategy starts with the brand. It gets down to listening to clients and asking questions to understand the clients’ industry and competition."
