Kenton County

Whether you're looking for inexpensive parking and a quick pre-Reds-game burger or tax breaks for your new business venture, Kenton County is the place to be.

With a population of almost 166,000, Kenton is the most densely inhabited of the three northernmost NKY counties. The riverfront city of Covington — Northern Kentucky's largest — has grown rapidly in recent years and is home to a busy convention center, a spectrum of businesses large and small and a burgeoning skyline of its own opposite downtown Cincinnati.

Kenton County is comprised of 21 cities that vary widely in size, demographic makeup and landscape. Many of the county’s schools, hospitals and learning institutions, including award-winning Thomas More College, align closely with the wide-reaching Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington.
