Rising Star Casino’s parent company is exploring re-establishing a ferry to Northern Kentucky to court gamblers.
Las Vegas-based Full House Resorts Inc., which owns the riverboat casino in Rising Sun, thinks it might be able to bolster traffic if it improved access to Kentucky. Casino executives estimate the ferry would make Rising Star readily accessible to 60,000 area residents, compared with the nearby 6,000 in southeast Indiana.
